I was born in Iran , raised in England
After completing My basic education in England, I returned to Paris to studiy stage make-up and earned a degree in Cosmetology from L' Institut de Maquillage.
In 1978, I moved to the United States and continued to work as a model. After moving to New York City in 1980, I found my real love was working behind the scenes at fashion shoots. There I found my self giving advice to models and actors, who consulted with me about their nail and skin care. Much of the advice I gave was based upon the treasured book of remedies left to me by Mamanjoon.
Mamanjoon was a well-respected educator and healer known far and wide . She would have been known today as a Naturopath.
In 1982, encouraged by my growing roster of celebrity clients, I turned my expertise into a full time business and opened my own salon in Manhattan. After working as a hand and nail product consultant for Cutex and L'Oreal, I developed my signature line of organic nail products for mass distribution in late 1999. Some of my clients included Cher, Heidi Klum, Kim Catrell, Cindy Crawford, Angela Basset, Ed Harris, Uma Thurman and Oprah Winfrey.
